When Lee's started installing solar, we knew there had to be a better way.

One main inverter for all of the panels?  Now that just doesn't make sense.
Most solar companies go the conventional route; they run all of the panels in a system through one main inverter.  There are two main problems we see with this method:

          1.  If something happens to that one inverter, the entire system goes down.  That means no solar production for however long it takes to get that big, important, expensive component replaced.

          2.  People sometimes decide to "upgrade" their solar system after a period of time.  Unfortunately, anyone who has one main inverter also has another big problem: in order to add panels to their system, they have to replace the inverter as well.  This adds huge expense to the job and, frankly, shouldn't be necessary.

So we decided to do something about it.

Enter the Enphase micro-inverter.
The micro-inverter is an individual inverter for each solar panel.  A 16-panel systems, for example, has 16 micro-inverters.  In our opinion, the micro-inverter method carries huge advantages:

          1.  If something happens to one of the micro-inverters, just the one panel it serves goes out of service while the rest of your system keeps producing.  Plus, it's far cheaper to replace one failed micro-inverter than to replace one failed master inverter.

          2.  Because of our micro-inverter system, Lee's is happy to install a system of any size.  Whether is 5 panels or 15, we can do it!

          3.  If you decide to add panels to your system at a later date, you can!  Since each panel has its own inverter, you don't have to replace any of the existing equipment.  All you have to do is add more panels with there own inverters.

          4.  The Enphase micro-inverter comes with incredible technology that allows you to monitor your solar energy production, right from your personal computer!  All we have to do is hook up your system to the Internet and you can see the exact production of each panel during any given day, week or month.

So when you think solar, think Lee's!  And when you think Lee's, think micro-inverter!
