Summer is done, and nice, cool weather has returned to the Fresno area. But what’s it going to look like as we move toward the winter months? How much will you need to rely on your home’s heating system?
If the Farmer’s Almanac is to be believed, we’re in for a warmer winter than normal.
The Almanac has our coldest times slated for late December and early February. But in December, the average temperature is expected to be 55 degrees – about three degrees higher than normal. Mountain snows are expected to be below average for this time of year.
Looking deep in the predictions, a warmer winter will then transition into a cool than normal summer. The hottest weather will hit the Valley in mid-June.
